So what does that mean for you? You find the part you need. You don't hunt for a form or an email address. You just say what you need.

Say: ask for a quote on this one, two units, delivered next month. Before anything is sent, it shows you the exact words, and who they go to.

A first message stays on the site. Put a phone number, an email or a link in it, and it isn't sent.

Say yes, and it's a message in the seller's Messages, opened with the product's name. Their reply comes back to your Messages, and you answer it there.

Rather do it yourself? On the product's page, click Request a Quote. Type your message, and send it. The same message, to the same place.

Here's what happens next. Connect your assistant once, and tick what it may do for you. Every step it takes is listed in Settings, Connected agents, under What it did. Thank you for trusting us with your business.

Asking for a quote commits you to nothing. There's no risk, ever. Nothing is committed until the customer clicks Hire, or the professional clicks Accept Offer.

Call around for a quote, and you leave a voicemail and wait for a call back. The old site listed a company's products as a line of text on its profile. Here, one sentence puts your question in the seller's Messages.
