Quick Answer

How does the Automate America Help Center work?

The Automate America Help Center answers common questions about using the marketplace — creating an account, posting or applying to contracts, timesheets, expenses, payouts, and White Glove managed service. Posting work and creating a profile are free, and you see qualified applicants as they apply. Browse a topic below, or contact support for anything not covered here.

How Endorsements Work

Who can endorse

Only people who are connected can endorse each other. You can endorse a connection, and your connections can endorse you. If you are not connected to someone, the Endorse button is not offered and an endorsement cannot be sent.

What an endorsement covers

You endorse one part of a profile at a time — a skill, a skilled trade, a job in the work history, a school, a certification, a language and more. Endorse what you saw first-hand. Each item can be endorsed once by the same person.

How to endorse

  1. Open your connection's profile.
  2. Click Endorse.
  3. Choose the item you are endorsing, say how you know them, and give an overall rating.
  4. Send it.

An endorsement is live as soon as you send it — there is no approval step.

Who sees it

The number of endorsements on a profile, and the Endorsed ×N badge on each item, are public. People who are not connected to the person who endorsed see that person's first name only.

Removing an endorsement

The person who was endorsed and the person who gave the endorsement can each remove it.
