These Messaging Terms of Service ("Messaging Terms") govern your use of the messaging features available on the Automate America platform ("Platform"). By using our messaging features, you agree to be bound by these Messaging Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1.2 Scope
These terms apply to all forms of messaging on the Platform, including but not limited to:
- Direct messages between users
- Contract-related communications
- Job inquiry messages
- Group messaging features
- Automated system notifications
1.3 Acceptance Required
You must accept these Messaging Terms before sending your first message on the Platform. Continued use of messaging features constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.
2. PERMITTED USE
The messaging feature is provided to facilitate professional communication between Platform users related to:
2.1 Business Communications
- Contract and job opportunity discussions
- Professional networking and collaboration
- Coordination of work-related activities
- Project updates and status communications
2.2 Transaction Support
- Negotiating contract terms
- Clarifying job requirements
- Scheduling interviews and meetings
- Resolving work-related issues
2.3 Professional Development
- Mentorship communications
- Industry networking
- Skill development discussions
- Career opportunity inquiries
3. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
You agree NOT to use the messaging feature to:
3.1 Harassment and Abuse
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully other users
- Send messages after being asked to stop
- Engage in stalking or persistent unwanted contact
- Make threatening or violent statements
3.2 Spam and Commercial Abuse
- Send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or bulk communications
- Promote services or products unrelated to the Platform
- Solicit users for non-Platform transactions
- Send chain letters or pyramid scheme messages
3.3 Harmful Content
- Share discriminatory, defamatory, or hateful content
- Solicit or promote illegal activities
- Share malware, viruses, or malicious links
- Send sexually explicit or adult content
- Share content that violates intellectual property rights
3.4 Deception and Fraud
- Impersonate other users or Automate America staff
- Share another person's personal information without consent
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to circumvent Platform payment or verification systems
3.5 Platform Circumvention
- Conduct transactions off-platform to avoid fees
- Collect user contact information for external solicitation
- Share personal contact details to bypass Platform messaging
- Attempt to recruit users away from the Platform
4. MESSAGE MONITORING AND RETENTION
You acknowledge and agree that:
4.1 Monitoring
- Automate America may monitor messages for compliance with these terms, platform security, and legal obligations
- We may use automated systems to detect prohibited content or suspicious activity
- Monitoring may include pattern detection, keyword analysis, and behavioral monitoring
4.2 Retention
- Messages are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention schedule
- We may retain messages for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security purposes
- Deleted messages may be retained in backup systems for a limited period
4.3 Disclosure
- We may disclose message content if required by law, court order, or legal process
- We may disclose messages to protect the safety of our users or the public
- Disclosure may occur to law enforcement when required or when we believe illegal activity has occurred
4.4 Access to Messages
- Automate America staff may access messages for support, investigation, or enforcement purposes
- Access is limited to authorized personnel with legitimate business needs
- All access is logged and audited
5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are solely responsible for:
5.1 Content
- The content of messages you send
- Ensuring your communications are accurate and not misleading
- Verifying the identity of users you communicate with
- Protecting any confidential information you receive
5.2 Legal Compliance
- Ensuring your communications comply with applicable laws
- Not violating any contractual obligations or non-disclosure agreements
- Complying with industry-specific regulations that may apply to your communications
5.3 Account Security
- Protecting your account credentials
- Reporting any unauthorized access to your account
- Not sharing your account with others
- Logging out from shared or public devices
5.4 Reporting
- Reporting violations of these terms to our support team
- Providing accurate information when making reports
- Cooperating with any investigations related to your messages
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Automate America is NOT responsible for:
6.1 User Content
- Content of messages sent between users
- Accuracy of information provided in messages
- Decisions made based on message content
- Outcomes of communications between users
6.2 Third-Party Actions
- Actions taken by users based on message content
- Conduct of other users in violation of these terms
- Fraud or deception by other users
6.3 Technical Issues
- Loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your messages due to your failure to protect account credentials
- Temporary unavailability of the messaging service due to maintenance or technical issues
- Message delivery delays or failures
- Data loss due to system failures
6.4 No Warranty
- Messaging services are provided "as is" without warranty
- We do not guarantee message delivery or timing
- We do not guarantee the identity or trustworthiness of other users
7. ENFORCEMENT
Violation of these Messaging Terms may result in:
7.1 Progressive Enforcement
- Warning notification for minor violations
- Temporary suspension of messaging privileges (1-30 days)
- Permanent removal of messaging access
- Full account suspension or termination
7.2 Immediate Action
The following violations may result in immediate action without prior warning:
- Threats of violence or harm
- Illegal activity
- Severe harassment
- Fraud or financial scams
- Distribution of harmful content
7.3 Additional Consequences
- Legal action where appropriate
- Reporting to law enforcement
- Notification to other affected users
- Permanent ban from the Platform
7.4 Discretion
Automate America reserves sole discretion to determine what constitutes a violation and what enforcement action is appropriate.
8. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
8.1 How to Report
If you receive messages that violate these terms, please report them immediately:
- Use the "Report" feature in the messaging interface
- Email support@automateamerica.com with details
- Include screenshots or message content if possible
8.2 Response Time
- Reports are typically reviewed within 48 hours
- Urgent safety concerns are prioritized
- You may receive follow-up questions for clarification
8.3 Confidentiality
- Your identity as a reporter is kept confidential when possible
- We do not disclose who made a report to the reported party
- You will not face retaliation for good faith reports
8.4 Appeals
If you believe your messaging privileges were suspended in error:

- Include your username and circumstances
- Appeals are reviewed within 10 business days
9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
9.1 Updates
We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.

- Notice within the Platform messaging interface
- Updated "Effective Date" on this page
9.3 Acceptance
Continued use of messaging after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with changes, you should stop using the messaging features.
