Emerson Electric Co.<\/a> recently inked a $40 million deal to provide automation systems and services for Novo Nordisk<\/a> and its $2 billion plant under construction in North Carolina.<\/p>\n

The Clayton, N.C. plant will serve as a drug manufacturing facility for the Danish-based Novo Nordisk.<\/p>\n

Novo Nordisk will implement Emerson\u2019s Project Certainty approach which takes complexity out of projects and helps with meeting tighter project deadlines, according research from Zack\u2019s Equity Research<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The announcement comes on top of a $20 million design-build contract awarded to Emerson to construct an automation project for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n
