Southern Cal Edison – Boiler Operations Startup & Integration Project engineer in charge of integrating communications for power generation at the Huntington Beach Power Station. In charge of interpreting and writing code and all communications between a Moore DCS system and the field equipment including a vibration monitoring system, turbine control, power current monitor, polisher and demineralizer, and Siemens switchgear. The Moore DCS system replaced a Bailey DCS system and communicated in function block, ladder logic and structured text with Allen Bradley 5/04 processors.
As Vice President of Engineering, managed a UL-508A panel shop with 6 employees and assisted in design, testing, and integration of control systems for various clients.
In addition, worked several projects with Schneider Electric PLCs and other vendor equipment.
