Responding to manufacturing issues
• Develop and maintain CAD models and engineering drawings in Creo/SolidWorks

• Develop data logging capability on PLC to better understand production issues
• Build and wire control panels for new assembly equipment
• Design and install machine guarding, including physical guards, light curtains, and redundant safety circuits for new assembly equipment
• Design tooling and fixtures for new product
• Perform production trials of new equipment and tooling. Identify mechanical issues and redesign components/tooling to resolve issues
• Commission new equipment from initial testing through after-startup production support
• Production floor support (stop-call-wait)
• Program and troubleshoot vision systems to detect mixed parts and quality defects
• Monitor and troubleshoot eddy current NDT machine
