I have over 20 years of experience in PLC programming and all other peripherals, HMI, servo drives, VFD..., a wide experience in trouble shooting installing and starting industrial machineries. I’m applying for any electrical or mechanical job / project as a contractor (Preference with a written contract). I could be very useful, in so many areas of this industry. Industrial Programing Electrical engineering, Mechanical and Thermodynamic (pneumatic). I have a great experience in PLC systems Allen Bradley and Siemens, I’m originally from France so I basically started as a Siemens engineer and updated myself to Allen Bradley products since I moved to the US over 15 years ago, I can handle programing from scratch or take back an already existing program, update it, to fit any new update of equipment over a machine, or an entire production line, that will include all the peripherals that goes with it, I have a good experience with Can programming, and other communication protocols, that could be Profibus, Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, AS-I… A great experience with any type of peripherals as HMI, VFD, Servo drives, SV pneumatical boards… I’m good in IT for line integration control, building a board where you could have all type of information over each piece of equipment and the general status of a full production line, that help with maintenance by lower costs and keep us with a high rate of efficiency My expertise is at the top level, in mechanical installations heavy duty equipment, and start-up, preventive and general maintenance, trouble shooting, repair, instrumental test and measurements, leading teams, scheduling and planning tasks, training. It was the basics that I have had to know, when I was building and installing blow molders, for the bottling industry, and it was my first experience in the industrial field for the first 5 years, SIDEL blow molders. My experience in The French navy was electrical, on the air craft carrier Foch. I have an extensive experience, in power generators, transforming energy from high voltage as 30K Volts to 220Vlts or 110. Installation of UPS systems, installing and starting in phase several generators. Extensive experience in the electrical field for home and buildings. I have an extensive experience in building construction fields If needed I can email you several reports with pictures, over projects that I achieved internationally. Water factories, breweries plastic manufacture, pharmaceutical… I hope that this brief introduction, was helpful to better understand my skill in the different areas of the electrical field.
Over the years I worked with multiple companies and I was able to build an experience over multiple equipment of a production line, I had to build some of those equipment, install them trouble shoot, program some of them and start them up. A typical new installation over a new project will include the steps I’m mentioning bellow, so we reach a full project commissioning.
1st portion of the project, I first managed the space that we determine in advance, so the line would fit, measuring, pictures, modification of the space in case we have anything in the way, we prepare the terrain for the specific production line
2ed portion of the project I managed the riggers team, that will handle laying down all the equipment.
3rd step I managed the mechanical team to install the equipment, mechanical drawings in hand, if mistakes are made we will always find either a local solution to make it work or call the OEM and work it with them. the mechanical aspect of the project will include installation of air supply, water supply, steam… all the energies supply.
4th step I managed the electrical team, drawings in hand and solution to any problem will be resolved on site, if we need any type of transformers, I will determine the lowed and order them.
5th step trouble shooting the system after we power it up. and all energies are in place.
6th step Programming I use it as well during the trouble shooting process in order to diagnose the issues in a faster way, than I handle all the interlocks communication between the equipment and program them, because as we know, a production line could be made from different OEM equipment, to program the communication interface, it always depend on the communication protocol that was used, nowadays we are most likely using ethernet with switch managers as the Cisco AB devices. So, the interlocks could be through produce and consume tags, or messaging, or they could be hard wired.
I also trouble shoot each machine program individually, in case the OEM didn’t have enough time to finish the program over their site or to fully test it, because of so many reasons
7th step of the project will be focused over training operators, mechanical, electricians and programmers
Final step production baby sitting raising production efficiency, detecting the issues and resolving them, raising the line rendering, to satisfy the signed contract most of the line efficiencies are at a 98% of efficiency and rendering.
Installation Start up training full customer service after sale service. Remote set up and long distance connection to main CPU and other peripheral that has ethernet or communication capability, that will help with trouble shooting and guiding the maintenance people on site with their trouble shooting to the down equipment
During my low seasons, I work in the heavy duty welding for ceiling reinforcement and of course any other mechanical or electrical work I could find
I am a Legal US Citizen
My experience with conveyor system is very high and advance in any type of conveyors
Air conveyors, bulk conveyors, rollers case conveyors, Full Pallete conveyors, palletets conveyors for distribution centers and wearhouses...
I worked with many companies that makes conveyors, European and Americans made, Posimat, Lanfranchi, and teh biggest of all a company that unfortuately closed, because it was a family owned company after the founder past away, that is N.T.S. is a company for air and mechanical conveying systems for all types of beverage containers plastic, P.E.T., cartons, etc. I have worked with this company as a commissioning engineer, and as a general supervisor in the mechanical, hydraulical, control automation and electrical fields. I started my first fields for them in the USA, Canada, and Algeria. - I did the supervision and the start-up for a Lanfranchi line: Depaletiser, bulk conveyor 600feet Unscrambler chain conveyor plus vacuum system 300feet down to the KHS Filler. Graham Packaging provides the empty P.E.T. Bottles for the Dawn soap. they mainely equipmed many of Nestlet water plants, Coca Cola and Pespi factories.
I have over 15 years of Experience in the Automation field, from PLC programing to other portion of automated equipment, I started with the time where we used contactors and stand alone equipment to help in the automation of a production line.
I have an extenssive experience in PLC HMI VFD Servo drives most of the known brands, Scanners for device net and other, ASI protocol of wiring system, for Siemens and Allen Bradley, Bar code reading scanners and product detection, working interfaces between PLC and Robots...
I worked in automation over project for several industries, Pharmaceutical as McNeill / Johnson and Johnson, Rhône-Poulenc, in the cosmetic I worked over line for Loreal, P&G, Unilever. in the alcohol lines, I did full project for Jem bean, Brown Forman, UDV group today it is DIAGEO... soft drinks, Pepsi-Co, Pepsi venture, Pepsi group of Americas, Coca-Cola, Royal Crown... water plant, nestlet Dannon Niagara. Oil plant as Conagra Lesieur... Cars parts manufactures...Faurecia... home care Unilever, P&G Liquide packaging... bottles industry Graham, Amcor...and so many other types of industry over the past 20 years
