Community Project

We need 2 experieneced Electrical Build Technicians to help with general assembly of new equipment at our facility in Sipmsonville South Carolina.

Stong experience in electrical build of automated assembly systems is a must.

Read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics and instruction manuals as they apply to the manufacturing of equipment.

Install components on control panels and wire the panels based on the documentation and instructions provided.

Complete the machine wiring to all sections of the equipment based on the documentation and written and verbal instructions provided. Do this wiring in a neat and professional way.

If any changes are needed on the documentation and instructions, make “red line” changes while working so the documentation and instructions reflect the final “as built” equipment.

Follow up in the software system (AutoCAD, Word, etc.) and make the “red line” changes to the documentation and instructions in the system so that the archived documentation matches the final “as built” equipment.

Document the machine wiring once completed so that this documentation (drawings, Word document, pictures) can be used by suppliers or other technicians to make future duplicate machines. The goal of this documentation is to allow us to make multiple machines that look the same to the production operators and maintenance team.

Work with suppliers to instruct them on how to wire our machines by providing drawings, Word documents, pictures, and verbal instructions.

Work with engineers and other technicians to get equipment debugged and working. Make any changes as needed so equipment can run efficiently and provide the intended function.

Assume an active role in the training of other personnel of test equipment and demonstrate ability to cross-train with other technicians, production, and support personnel as required.

Trouble shoot new and existing production equipment as needed. Be able to connect to the PLC / controls system to understand the software program and debug / fix machine problems.

Train other technicians in equipment engineering and production on trouble shooting of production equipment along with verbal and written communication skills.

Help develop new equipment / testers as needed. This can include building special testers, special fixtures, custom circuits, and circuit boards as needed.
