We are in need of (3) Electrical Design Engineers with 3+ years experience using AutoCAD for a multi-robot cell system consisting of seven (7) different robot stations to handle and process axle shafts. All seven (7) stations will be controlled by a single PLC.
Remote work possible for this project, but local to the site candidates preferred. Must be located in the USA, and preferred within reasonble driving distance to OH.
The end user has provided a reference copy of an AutoCAD drawing package for electrical and pneumatic design. The drawings created for this project must be similar in nature and utilize the customer supplied titleblock. Specifications and design criteria have also been provided by the end user. These will be supplied at the start of the design phase.
Aside from the HMI enclosures, there will be two (2) electrical enclosures. One will be dedicated to the high voltage and power distribution and the second dedicated to low voltage and main control.
There is not a requirement at this time to generate the drawing package in AutoCAD Electrical. Standard 2D AutoCAD is expected.
End user titleblock shall be used.
Designer Requirements:
Must have AutoCAD 2024 license (earlier versions may be used).
Create electrical and pneumatic drawing packages for each system.
Modify drawings and/or BOM based on design approval feedback (WM or end user).
Make updates and revisions as needed.
Produce BOM that includes all components and is itemized based on system.
Supply completed drawing packages to WM for submittal to end user.
Participate in weekly project status meeting with WM.
Participate in weekly project status meeting with end user.
Participate in weekly design status meeting with WM.
Participate in supplier meetings as required.
Designer(s) must be local/on shore USA.

Expenses for any trips required by Wauseon for onsite meetings or support will be reimbursed.
40 hours of direct work per week, M-F and 8 hours per day. OT pay must be authorized in advance.
Local to the plant applicants preferred.

Timesheets and Expense Reports: These must be submitted by 9 AM on Monday mornings. Adherence to this deadline is crucial for maintaining our commitment to clients and for the timely processing of invoices. Please note the following late fee policy:

- A late submission beyond the deadline will incur a fee.
- Starting from Tuesday, a $100 late fee will be applied.
- An additional $50 fee will be charged for each day beyond the initial late period.
