We are running v17
HMI's are 6AV21240MC010AX0 TP1200 Comfort Panels.
You need a Siemens professional license, WinCC HMI license, and there is a seperate safety license which we are not sure is nessessary if you are not doing safety. If you don't have the required license, customer can lone out one.
We used festo io link and weidimuler profinet io. We had a few g120 siemens servo drives and believe you have to purchase an operator panel face plate for those. We used festo automation suite to help aid in the debug of the festo io link as well as the festo actuators. It is helpful but not nessesary if everything goes well.
