We are looking for a Robot programmer with ABB and RoboDK simulation experience. The project will start mid January 2023 as remote simulation work. Possibly 1-2 days per week and will progressively ramp up until install and commissioning on site.

Perform simulation of use cases for industrial and collaborative robotics using RoboDK.

Collaborate with developers, fellow engineers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and scope of the turn-key robotics cells.

Expertise in the integration and set-up of various automation technologies such as collaborative robots (Cobots), grippers, and process tooling.

Develop and implement software which will control the robots.

Attend project and client meetings with the teams to discuss scopes.

Support specification of robots, dress packs and end effectors.

Create complete documentation for robotic systems (functional specifications, I/O interfaces, and Sequence of Operations).

Ensure that robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision; identify and implement modifications.

Program robot movements, pick-points, and end effector interactions with materials.

Implementation of industrial robotics for palletizing, pick/place, and material handling processes.

ABB robotic knowledge.

FANUC robotics knowledge a plus.

Universal Robot knowledge a plus.

Experience developing simulations in RoboDK

Utilization of teach pendant for new robot movements.
